A clearer path to closing
Florida Closing Guide explains Florida real estate closings in plain English, so buyers, sellers, and real estate agents know what to expect and why each cost appears on the closing statement.
What the site covers
- Guides on closing costs, title insurance, Florida rules and process, and topics for buyers, sellers, and agents. Browse them on the Learn page.
- A closing cost calculator covering all 67 Florida counties, using statutory tax rates and Florida promulgated title insurance premiums.
- A title company directory listing Florida title companies alphabetically by region, with a county filter.
How content is written and updated
Guides explain what Florida law, state rules, and common local practice say, and point to the statute or rule behind tax rates and title premiums where one applies. When a guide is changed in a meaningful way, its "Last updated" date changes to the date of that edit. We do not show review dates for content that has not actually been updated.
If you find an error, email fcg@titleandkey.com. We review each report and correct confirmed errors.
Neutrality
The site does not rank or rate title companies, lenders, or agents. The directory lists companies alphabetically, and no company pays to be listed. Florida Closing Guide is created by Title & Key, a Florida title agency. Read the Disclosures and our Editorial Standards for details.
